The BILL CAMPBELL KITContains one M-2 and one M-3.
A good solid kit! It contains two basic instruments that give you the most and everything that a Double-Instrument Kit can, if you know what you're doing and know you ground and know your dog well. These are the two instruments from which all of the others are made. The M-3 is for low altitudes, woods and brush, hills and mountains, canyons, rocks, obstacles, over hot rocks and puddles, in an out of the home, cities and country, etc. The m-3 is the opposite: open country, higher altitudes, larger dogs, even conditions, low humidity, up close and far away— simply a very, very good instrument.
This kit lacks the special attributes of the all-in-one M-4 and the small universal M-1, but you gain 20% more distance advantage with the up-close and far-away M-3 itself. You also gain somewhat from the fact that both the M-3 and the M-3 are larger instruments (for both large and small dogs) if not as large as the M-4. The kit is basically for the purist, for use in both close cover and open country in both lowlands and uplands, offering the most in distance— upwards of a quarter of a mile. This kit also receives our highest recommendation right along side the M14 Kit, differing from it only for a larger dog.
